WEVE been hearing and talking about it for a fairly long time:curbing what has bee known as “white pollution. But still we are using the white polystyrene（PS）foam food containers and other disposable plastic products,which largely make up this form of littering.
Miandianwang,a well—known local fast—food chain,is still handing out takeout food in these PS foam containers,even though they should been phased out before December 31,20xx,under a Central Government decree. One of the waiters said in its outlet on Hongli Road on Monday that they are going to switch to environmentally friendly containers “some time in the future.
However,the Miandianwang outlet in Sams Club,which is affiliated with Wal—Mart,is offering take—out food in light brown containers which are biodegradable. Liang,a clerk with Sams Club,told Shenzhen Daily yesterday that the club required the Miandianwang outlet to do so in its contract.
According to Liang,all the departments in the club switched to biodegradable containers during the Spring Festival holiday. Zhao Hua,with the energy division of the Shenzhen Municipal Economic Development Bureau,one of the five municipal government departments involved in the curbing of white pollution in the city,said on Monday that large panies and retailers like Wal—Mart and Vanguard have responded to the decree by switching to biodegradable containers. But she admitted that is just the tip of the iceberg in the seemingly endless war on white pollution in the city.
Zhaos bureau has met with four other relevant departments on several occasions. What they produced is not a feasible solution but an echo or rewording of the Central Government decree,according to Luo Wei from Shenzhen Municipal Legal Affairs Bureau,who is responsible for reviewing this “echo. The ”echo has now been passed on to the municipal government which is expected to announce it formally in the near future. But Luo said shes not sure if this rewording can play a significant role in eliminating white pollution in the city. “We dont lack laws,regulations or decrees. The real concern is the effective enforcement of these laws or regulations,said Luo.
Zhao Hua admitted that cities like Shanghai and other coastal cities which are sensitive about their image as tourist destinations are doing a better job in this regard. “Shanghai is said to have produced a very detailed handbook on how to carry out the curbing work and Hainan has even banned disposable foam slippers in hotels,Zhao said. Liu Guanqing,president of Shenzhen Xunbao Investment Development Co Ltd,a local manufacturer of biodegradable food containers was very eager to hear the municipal governments decision on the matter. “Since early this year,Ive seen orders fly in. When I was five, my biological father committed suicide. It left me feelingas though I d done something wrong; that if I had been better somehow, maybehe d have stayed around. My mother remarried shortly thereafter, and this manwas my dad until I was nineteen. I called him Dad and used his name all throughschool. But, when he and my mother divorced, he just walked away. Once again, Iwondered what was wrong with me that I couldn t keep a father.
Mother remarried again, and Bob was a wonderful, kind man. I was twenty nowand no longer living at home, but I felt a great love and attachment for him. Afew years later my mother was diagnosed with cancer and was not given long to live. Shortly before she died, Bob came over to my house alone one day. Wetalked about a lot of things, and then he told me that he wanted me to know thathe d always be there for me, even after Mother was gone. Then he asked if hecould adopt me.
I could hardly believe my ears. Tears streamed down my face. He wanted me -me! This man had no obligation to me, but he was reaching out from his heart,and I accepted. During the adoption proceedings, the judge commented on all theundesirable duties of his profession and then with a tear in his eye, thanked usfor brightening his day as he pronounced us father and daughter. I wastwenty-five, but I was his little girl.Three short years later, Bob, too, was diagnosed with cancer and was gonewithin the year. At first I was hurt and angry at God for taking this fatheraway too. But eventually the love and acceptance that I felt from Dad camethrough again, and I became, once more, grateful for the years we had. On Father s Day I always reflect on what I ve learned about fatherhood.
I ve learned that it is not dependent on biology or even on raising a child.Fatherhood is a matter of the heart. Bob s gift from the heart will warm my soulfor eternity.

Moreover we can understand so deeply, it is not just a story, but a good will from people’s inner heart. By implication, we see a 4-step definitions of success: 1 ) a goal to be set. as represented by the beautiful princess. So you’d better find your princess as soon as possible; 2 ) challenges to be meet, as represented by the three tasks. Only if you directly meet the challenge, can you besuccessful; 3 ) the process of overcoming difficulties, as represented by the ordeals the youth goes through; 4 ) the reward of success, as represented by the happy marriage. firstly 1.research methodology：it includes three aspects: data variables and methodology date: this study investigates the significant corporate governance attributes that may affect the capital structure of non-financial firms listed on the karachi stock exchange pakistan during 20xx-2008. and the final sample set consists of 775 observations for 155 firms over a period of five years.
this study employed panel data methodology(面板数据方式) because sample contained data across firms and over time

capital structure is positively related to board size、outside directors and ownership concentration. that is to say: a large board serve as a means to obtain support from external environment;
boards with more independent directors can take on more debt on favorable terms due to effective monitoring ;
block holders have more ability than dispersed shareholders to force management to take those actions that maximize the shareholder wealth.
15、on the other hand, capital structure is negative related to managerial ownership、director remuneration 、profitability and liquidity.

the results of the paper indicate that corporate governance attributes, in part, explicate the financing behavior of pakistani firms
and, the empirical results of this study provide support to corporate managers in establishing an optimal capital structure, and to regulatory authorities for enacting laws and developing institutional support to make corporate governance mechanisms work more effectively in the country.

Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years . We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . Worry , fear , self distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust . Whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
When the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80. Thank you!

Shanghai will host the 20xx World Expo. The World Expo has a long history but it has never been held in Asia. So the 20xx World Expo is an honor for all of the Asians. Our government has promised that it will be the best one. And Shanghai, as a host city, will have more chances to develop quickly.
As a student in Shanghai, I should learn English well so that I can be a volunteer in the Expo to help foreigners know more.
